~Abyss-Dragons

Welcome, young dragon, to the inner depths of the massive cave spawned from the earth. Follow closely behind me so that you do not get lost in the ugly shadows roaming its interior. Here lies that of the Shadenyl. So long as there is a shadow and so long as darkness thrives, this clan shall live.

Your journey begins on the outskirts of a long time ghost town. An eerie aura surrounds both the town and you, causing shivers to roll down your spine. You exit the town from the rear and come into a cloud of fog. You see darkness before you and the fog seems to wisp you forward. Howls are heard from the blackness and the gentleness of the fog softens your heart and calms your soul. You have been beckoned. Your claws seem to hover as you close in on the black abyss before you. The fog engulfs you. You lose all sense of reality and gravity and everything real. Shadows wisp by you, you can feel the icy softness of their hearts as they wrap around your scales. You are being carried away, floating up high, or are you sinking, faster and faster. Finally there is ground, or at least something to hold onto. With open eyes, you examine your surroundings. Black. A dark haven compels you. Roars are heard from all sides and you finally notice dragons; large, horridly beautiful creatures lurking about. Shadows shift flow about them encasing their scales in eerie brilliance.

As your shadow grows, so shall you. No longer will you know fear for you will become fear itself. You will reign in darkness and reek havoc and upon the world. The blackness of your heart shall shine through. You will spread your dark wings with such swiftness and grace that you will move like a shadow itself. Those of the Shadenyl shall bestow upon you their horrid grace. Chaos will fill your soul and with menacing grins shall you live. One day, young dragon, you shall lift your shady snout as you entangle your being with the Elders of shadow.
I leave you now, young one, to explore the hidden chaos of this dark abyss. Perhaps then shall you choose to make haven among those of the Shadenyl.
