Welcome, young dragon, to the deep waters of the south. Follow closely behind me so that you do not get lost in the violent waves splashing about. Here lies that of the Aquios. Since the dawn of time, they conquered everything. But as the world turned and land masses formed, their territory decreased, though it still flows strong with impenetrable fury.

Your journey begins somewhere amidst the harsh sands of a lonely beach. Careful, as the sun’s rays heat the sand and I’m afraid shall hurt you as well. You reach the end of the beach as the tide slowly moves in and out, in and out. You are in a trance. The captivating waters take hold of you in their silent lullaby. You lower your head, calm. A voice from deep inside the ocean sounds out like a chorus, touching your soul and easing your pain. You have been beckoned. Without hesitation, you dive into the cerulean abyss head first and flow through the waters. It is natural and the movements come easily. Many fish watch you as your scaly body passes before them. You see green from the depths. Food perhaps. Finally, you come across darker waters and there, a soft glow tints from the center. Opening your eyes wide you witness thousands of dragons swimming about. Their skillfulness overwhelms you as you creep closer.

With each passing day, you shall grow. The harsh waters shall no longer cause you alarm but will serve as a simple haven for your scales. Your wings will act as your speed tool, propelling you through the blue before you. Your body shall move in ways you never though possible and your veins will pulse with the taste of the sea. No longer will you regret the absence of the sun’s rays or the fresh air above you. All you live for is the Aquios. One day you shall propel your head up with fellow Elders of water.

I leave you now, young one, to explore the depths of this flowing blue abyss. Perhaps then shall you choose to make haven among those of the Aquios.
