HOW A YOUNG DRAGON JOINS

Abyss Dragons welcomes any young dragon willing to join though before we can allow membership, certain rules must be followed:

-Respect your fellow abyss dragons.
-No speaking in violent tongues. Harsh and offending words will not be tolerated anywhere.
-Nothing expicit shall be spoken. PG-13 is the highest any discussion or conversation shall go.
-Follow simple dragon ettique as well as those of DeviantART

JOINING

Each dragon is grouped according to the clan in which they prefer. If you would like to make haven among the Abyss Dragons, then simply send a note to the club with the subject entitled "Join". DO NOT COMMENT ON THE FRONT PAGE WITH SOLE INTENTION OF JOINING. If you decide to say you would like to join on the front page, be sure to also send a note. Any dragon only bordering the main page shall not be granted membership.
There are many clans to choose from. Please include the clan you wish to join in your note as well. The Abyss Clans are as follows:

Dragons of Forest: Floraan
Dragons of Water: Aquios
Dragons of Thunder: Thundyxx
Dragons of Wind: Zephior
Dragons of Light: Divyne
Dragons of Shadow: Shadenyl

I, ~silverdragon27, shall respond to all your notes. If your note is not responded to withing a couple days, please be sure to resend your joining request to ensure your membership.

There are two more rules you must follow to join the ~Abyss-Dragons.

-Add the club's icon to your journal by simply typing : iconabyss-dragons : (WITHOUT SPACES) and you shall get this -->
-You may also choose to put us in your signiture by typing : devabyss-dragons : (WITHOUT SPACES) to get ~Abyss-Dragons

-WATCH THE CLUB!!!!! Watching makes a lot of things easier.

SUBMITING YOUR ART TO THE CLUB

To submit your art to the club, simply send a note entitled "Art Submission" with the title of your piece as well as a link to it. It shall be posted within a few days of recieving the note. We shall be sure to lead wandering watchers to your original link and disabling comments on the deviation we submit so that you, young dragon, shall recieve all the comments.

Your drawing do not have to be associated with Abyss-Dragons or your clan. We welcome dragons of any kind to be submitted for wandering eyes to witness.

Winners of contests shall have their picture as the "featured deviation" until the next contest winner is announced.

FREELANCE DRAGONS

The founder shall draw contest prizes. If you would like to volunteer to be a freelance dragon so that you may lend your skills and help out, send the club a note entitled "Freelance Dragon." The point of this is so that winners of contests will have a larger variety of talent to choose from. We shall note you if the winner has selected your talent, young dragon, with their request.
If at any time you do not wish to be a Freelance Dragon, send us a note once more.

AFFILIATION

Those of the ~Abyss-Dragons shall affiliate with any club. Our affiliates can be found on the front page. If you would like your club to be displayed there as well, send us a note entitled "Affiliate" and we shall be sure to add you. There are two kinds of affiliations: Dragon Kin and Foreign Kin. Those not associated with dragons or fantasy shall be placed under Foreign Kin. If you feel the need to tell us which category your club falls under, be sure to tell us in the note.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF EXPERIENCE AND HOW DOES A CLAN EARN EXP?

Experience is necessary for growth of a clan. It portrays how long the clan has survived as well as its dominance in the world. EXP is needed to level up. Clans can level up infinitly. They begin at level 1. To grow to level 2, they need 100 EXP points. To grow to the next, 100x the current level is needed. For example, to grow to level 3, a clan needs 200 experience.
Each clan can grow levels infinitly.

A clan can earn experience in a number of ways.
-Each time a new member is added, 5 points of experience will be awarded.
-Each contest submission will be awarded 10 experience points. If there are more than one entries from each clan, then it will be 10x the number of entries.
-The contest winner's clan shall be awarded an additional 30 experience points.
-In a duel:
-If you are a combatent then you shall be awarded 15 experience points.
-If you end up winning the duel, then your clan shall be awarded an additional 25 experience points.
-Each vote from a clan shall award them 1 experience point.
-Each submission from a clan shall be awarded 5 experience points.

WHAT IS THE BATTLEGROUND?

The battleground, young dragon, is where contests and duels are held. A contest is just like anyother in which every member from every clan may compete.

For a duel, one clan may wish to challenge another for territory or for braging rights. Remember, these are all healthy battles. Nothing vulger will be accepted.
The clan declaring battle shall choose a Duel Type: Art vs Art. Art vs Story, or Stroy vs Story. If the challenged clan accepts, a duel shall commence.
Any number of members from the two clans may partake in the duel. THE MEMBER WHO CHALLENGED MUST PARTICIPATE OR WILL BE DEDUCTED EXP. After the time limit expires, voting shall take place from the other clans. Then, a winner shall be decided.

SUGGESTIONS

If your dragon spirit comes up with a contest idea or perhaps any way to improve the club, don't be afraid to let it out! We are open to suggestions each and every moment.
